I think i have a problem, i dont want to consolt my parents or anything! But i'm always thinking about food and my weight. Not that i'm skinny or anorexic or anything, i'm actualy really fat, i'm 13 and way over weight and yeah i want to do something about it. But i dont want this to ruine my life, i'm loosing friends because of it!! I find it hard to focus and i dont want to think this way!! I need help!

Answer

It is okay to think about food and your weight. You are going to be fine. Become an expert on your food. Read the food labels on everything that you eat. Count and write down the calories, carbs, protein, fat and sodium. Limit yourself to say 1800 calories a day and split that up between three meals and three snacks. Eat a small amount of protein with each meal. Honestly? You will be amazed at how much you learn about what you can actually eat and still feel good and lose weight. Combine that with some exercise and good sleep habits and you will be very happy! Good luck!
